Soulfly ROBBED!

Heavy metal band Soulfly recently suffered a major setback after their touring gear was stolen just days before the kickoff of their North American run with GWAR. The theft occurred in Albuquerque when a U-Haul truck transporting the band’s equipment was broken into while en route to the first show.

According to the band, thieves made off with key items including custom stage backdrops and a crew member’s personal belongings. In a social media post, Soulfly alerted fans with a “red alert,” asking anyone with information to come forward and help recover the stolen gear.

While the full extent of the loss hasn’t been disclosed, missing backdrops can significantly impact a band’s stage production, especially on a major tour.

Despite the incident, Soulfly has remained committed to continuing the tour, showing resilience in the face of a common but devastating challenge for touring musicians.

The story has quickly gained traction among fans, highlighting both the risks of life on the road and the strong support within the metal community.
