DRAIN…is your friend TOUR

drain band

April 4, 2026… I only have so much room and energy to write this so I’m going to gloss over the openers, who on their own were awesome! Secret World from Australia, impressed. Will be looking forward to their return to the states. Haywire, Holy S! First time seeing them and blown away. No Pressure was usual solid self. Great energy, great songs, great band.

Drain absolutely tore through the Concord Music Hall (thanks Riot Fest Presents)! Delivering one of the most energetic and fun hardcore shows Chicago has seen in a while. From the opening notes of “Feel the Pressure,” the crowd was instantly in motion, with nonstop stage dives, circle pits, and pure chaos in the best way possible.

The band fed off that energy all night, ripping through a tight, high-impact setlist that included standouts like “FTS (KYS),” “Loudest in the Room,” and “Army of One.” “California Cursed” hit especially hard toward the end, bringing everything to a boiling point. Even their Descendents cover of “Good Good Things” kept the crowd locked in, showing their range while still keeping the intensity high.

What really stood out was the vibe—Drain made the whole room feel connected. Between songs, their frontman kept things loose, fun, and positive, which only added to the experience. It never felt like just a concert; it felt like a full-on hardcore party.

By the time the set wrapped, the room was drenched, exhausted, and completely satisfied. It was an awesome show from start to finish.

Recommendation – DO NOT MISS
