Preview: Milwaukee Metalfest 2026

Milwaukee Metal Fest returns to The Rave/Eagles Ballroom on June 5-7, 2026, with one of the strongest lineups in the festival’s recent history. Featuring more than 75 bands across multiple stages, the weekend promises three days of nonstop metal ranging from classic thrash and death metal to hardcore, metalcore, doom, and industrial. Headliners Acid Bath, Killswitch Engage, and Ministry lead a lineup packed with legendary acts, cult favorites, and rising stars.

Friday belongs to Acid Bath, whose long-awaited reunion continues to be one of the most talked-about stories in heavy music. The day also features Obituary, Agalloch’s retrospective set, Death Angel performing material from Act III, Incantation, Vio-lence, and Pallbearer.

Saturday may be the festival’s most loaded day. Killswitch Engage headlines a bill that includes Machine Head, Suicidal Tendencies, Power Trip, After the Burial, NAILS, Sacred Reich, Havok, Prong, and a special Agalloch performance of Ashes Against the Grain. Expect massive pits and wall-to-wall energy throughout the day.

Sunday closes with industrial metal pioneers Ministry and also features Napalm Death, All Shall Perish, Integrity, Primitive Man, UADA, Deadguy, and a special John Bush set celebrating Anthrax songs from 1993-2003.

Whether you’re a lifelong metalhead or a newer fan looking to experience one of America’s most legendary metal gatherings, Milwaukee Metal Fest 2026 is shaping up to be an unforgettable weekend of heavy music, community, and pure chaos.
