Homicide Hagridden is planning to release their new album, “Effect Lucifero”.

Homicide HagriddenHomicide Hagridden was founded in 1994. Drummer Stefano Moda, vocalist/guitarist Massimo Moda, Luca Guidi on bass, and Fabrizio Fortunato on second guitar complete the band. After some months, the guitarist changed with Fdele Pagano, and the band recorded their first demo-tape, “Sequence of Death” at Metchless studio. Initially, the band had the name “Death Slaughter”, but Stefano decided to change it to “Homicide Hagridden”. The demo received many compliments from the Italian press, and along with some bands in the local metal scene, Homicide Hagridden performed for the first time in front of an audience, which enhanced the performance.

After some internal disagreements within the band, Luca Guidi left, and David RuoRoch replaced him, giving an important contribution in the songwriting quality. “Behind the Lines” was the second demo, recorded in 1996, and after a few gigs, the band was thrown headlong into the creation of “Where Angels Work” in 1998, recorded at Nadir studio by Tommy Talamanca. The band, for the first time, performed with bands such as Brain Damage, Detestor, and Insidia.

Homicide Hagridden released a few promo-tapes and demos, dedicated to the label’s deal, and in 2002, the band recorded their first full-length album, “Dead Black Sun”, also signing a contract with Japanese Eclipse Records. With astonishment and disbelief, the album saw the light only in 2005, and in the meantime, the label vanished. However, some songs on the album appear in some compilations.

The band released “Mechanism Dead”, published for the digital platforms in 2008, exploring a different sounds with the addition of 7-string guitars. The band recorded at Orion S tudio Recordings their second full-length, with the simple title, “Us”, and was released on October 8, 2012 all over the world, via Build-to-Kill Records. The album received positive attention from the press and media in general. Rock Hard Italy defined “Us” as a most violent thrash album since the days of the legendary Slayer release, “Reign In Blood”.

The band played the same year with Samael, Vader, Keep of Kalessin, Cephalic Carnage, Napalm Death, and Melechesh. On the same day of release of the album, the band started with a new bassist, Valerio Possetto, on tour in Ukraine. Upon returning, the band start to look for a new guitarist to complete the lineup, and found Fabio Insalaco.
