Guns N’ Roses Unveils Appetite for Destruction Surprise

Guns N' Roses teasing billboard

MetalSucks reported that Guns N’ Roses appear to be teasing an imminent reunion, which would include not only Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan, but also Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler, but that at that moment, nothing had been “officially” confirmed. Loudwire sensed a bit skepticism, due to Adler announcing an Australian tour with his band, “Adler’s Appetite”, which plays Appetite for Destruction.

What sparked this curiosity? A billboard in the Camden area of London (gnr1), which includes all five original Guns N’ Roses members in their skull form from the cover of Appetite for Destruction, along with the hashtag #AppetiteForDestruction . The original link, if clicked on before the timer ran out, showed a countdown at the top, the skulls flipping through each member, and a listening option, which tuned you into a feed that fuzzed in and out every 5-10 seconds (what was with that?). But the fact that the site is registered to Universal Music Group is what sparked even more curiosity, for this makes whatever they’re teasing either official, or it’s a mean trick by somebody with a sick sense of humor.

Both locations have confirmed that it’s a little of both. At this time, there is no news of Guns N’ Roses regrouping for a reunion tour. However, what Guns N’ Roses will be bringing its fans is a super deluxe 31st anniversary edition of Appetite for Destruction:
