Being As An Ocean Announces Tour with Counterparts

Post-hardcore juggernauts Being As An Ocean are teaming up with hardcore/metal giants Counterparts for a co-headlining tour this fall. The tour kicks off September 20th in New York City and wraps on October 21st in Philadelphia. Dates are listed below.

Leading up to the tour, Being As An Ocean has partnered up with LA based label SharpTone Records to release a Deluxe Vinyl Edition of the band’s 2017 independently released, 4th studio album, Waiting For Morning To Come, on September 7th. The collaborative release will feature the critically acclaimed album with 3 new songs all on vinyl for the first time, and available in a variety of bundles.

Additionally, Being As An Ocean has debuted a music video, directed by Brume, for their new song “Alone,” that’s featured on the Deluxe Edition. Watch the video for “Alone”:

Formed in 2012, Being As An Ocean hails from Alpine, CA, just outside of San Diego. The band was previously signed to InVogue Records, and released a handful of successful records (Dear G-d…, How We Both Wondrously Perish and Being As An Ocean, over the span of three years. During that time the band toured the world non-stop with bands like August Burns Red, Senses Fail, For The Fallen Dreams, Hundredth, Counterparts, Liferuiner, The Elijah among others, including multiple tours in the U.S., Europe, Australia and Canada; amassing an army of fans along the way.

In 2017, Being As An Ocean struck out on their own to independently release their next record, the long awaited follow up, Waiting For Morning To Come, which was well received by fans and critics and marked their return to the Independent Albums Chart.

Now, with one of the fall’s most anticipated post/hardcore tours quickly approaching, the band’s latest record will get the vinyl treatment fans have been waiting for. Pick up a copy and catch the band live this fall!
