Instrumental/post-rock unit This Will Destroy You will return to stages this summer on a western US tour. Set to commence on August 8th in Las Vegas, Nevada, the trek will make its way through eight cities upon its conclusion August 17th in Flagstaff, Arizona. Support will be provided by Brin, the solo project of Portland, Oregon based multi-instrumentalist/sound contortionist, Colin Blanton. Tickets on go on sale May 10th. See all confirmed dates below.
This Will Destroy You released their New Others Part One and Two full-lengths last year via Dark Operative. Captured by John Congleton, the Grammy award-winning producer responsible for the sound of the band’s wildly popular self-titled sophomore album, the records feature core members Jeremy Galindo and Christopher King with the addition of drummer Robi Gonzalez and carry on This Will Destroy You’s tradition of a familiar, but evolved ethos wherein the memorable melodic component present in their early work once again soars atop progressive sonic territories for the band and listener alike.
