Revered independent label Innerstrength Records has announced the company has inked a deal with rising Memphis based rock act Sleeping Seasons, and plans to release their debut, full-length album, Never Would I Choose To Never Love At All, in August. Additional details of the release are forthcoming. The band’s addition to the roster further diversifies the label’s eclectic lineup which also includes remarkable up-and-coming hardcore/metal bands like Machinist!, Rig Time, Vessels and Acadia among others.
Sleeping Seasons’ origin can be traced to 2011 in Munford, Tennessee. The project took many forms over the years changing from vocalist/guitarist C.J. Starnes’ solo act into a band and going through a few member changes before becoming what it is today with guitarist Julian Stanz, drummer Tom Hale and bassist Chloie Pennington.
In February 2017, the band released their debut EP, Tired Bodies, and spent the year performing shows in support before writing and recording their first full-length record. The band’s debut album, Never Would I Choose To Never Love At All, is expected out in August on their new label Innerstrength Records.
