Nature Ganganbaigal (a.k.a. “Nature G”), frontman of Tengger Cavalry, has passed away. The band confirmed his death in a statement late last night:
“It is with deep sadness and shock that we must share the news that Nature has passed away. Nature’s greatest goal in life was the unite people of all backgrounds through community and through music. He was also an advocate for mental health, and encouraged everyone from friends to total strangers to persist through their struggles. Though we have lost a dear friend and a great artists, we know that his music will live on, and continue to help us find our common ground and find our strength despite
adversity. Please respect the privacy of Nature’s family during his painful time. May the Eternal Blue Sky find him at peace.”
Nature’s body was found by authorities on June 13th. Nature made no secrets of his struggles with depression and suicidal thoughts and directing a moving essay earlier this year about his struggles.
We send our condolences to his entire family at this difficult time. We will miss you dearly, our friend.” (Source)

Nature “G” Ganganbaigal
Tengger Cavalry means “the army of the sky god” in Mongolian. The group was founded by Nature “G” Ganganbaigal, whose singing style used the ancient Mongolian tradition of Khoomei (more commonly known as “throat-singing”). He also played multiple native instruments, including the Morin Khuur (an ancient fiddle), the Tovshuur (a Mongolian guitar), and the Mongolian flute.
Following Nature G’s relocation to America six years ago, Tengger Cavalry has successfully completed two headlining tours, even a sold out performance at New York City’s prestigious Carnegie Hall.
Style of Tengger Cavalry
As one of the most unique and innovative acts in modern music, the band blends the nomadic musical traditions, instrumentation, and warrior spirit of Central Asia with the aggression and power of heavy metal. Since forming in 2010, they’ve released four full-length albums, two EPs and numerous singles.
Tengger Cavalry has been praised by top media outlets such as Metal Hammer, Terrorizer, Billboard, CNN, The Huffington Post and countless others. Also, in December, 2016, the official Motörhead Facebook page reposted the band’s rendition of their song, “Fight”, and the next month, Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine retweeted the group’s cover of “Symphony Of Destruction”. Nature “G” Ganganbaigal also helped discover Mongolian metal band, “The Hu”, which is also played here on Rebel Radio.
