As Christchurch, New Zealand-based brutal death/grind faction Blindfolded and Led to the Woods prepares for the October release of their Modern Adoxography album, Metal Injection has debuted the band’s intense new video for the demented track, “Meth Tooth,” the second single to be released from the record.
Blindfolded and Led to the Woods issues pertaining to the song and corresponding, violent, horror-themed video for the track, “The video and lyrical themes follow a young dental nurse who has a palette for inducing the crushed, rotten, meth teeth that are extracted from her patients. This touches on the cyclic nature of dependence and illuminates the symbiosis and codependency of one human to another despite our obvious differences. Director, Adam Penfold and his team worked hard to give breath to the lyrical theme and in our opinion, Adam managed to do this in a way that represents the band’s culture of humor, color, and unadulterated
brutality.”

Blindfolded and Led to the Woods recorded their sophomore album Modern Adoxography, the record manifesting everything audiences have come to love about the band, with ten relentless tracks in thirty-five minutes of crushing riffs, technical wizardry, and merciless vocals. While the band’s musical foundation is built upon brutal death metal, elements of demented grindcore and bizarre sci-fi tones weave their way into the complex structures, resulting in an engaging and damaging listening experience.
Modern Adoxography was produced by Joseph Veale and Blindfolded and Led to the Woods, the album recorded at Blue Barn Studios with James Goldsmith, mixed by Samuel K. Sproull, and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music, completed with artwork and design by Syn Photography.
