Big Rock Brewery & Metalheads United are proud to announce they will be presenting a 2018 edition of the 420 Music & Arts Festival in Calgary, AB, Canada after a successful inaugural expo and concert series this past April.
Submissions for bands to perform at the 2018 420 Music & Arts Festival on April 19th, 20th and 21st are now open, and will close on August 31, 2017. This year’s festival will also be expanding its line up from stoner rock/stoner metal, doom, psychedelic and heavy blues to also include reggae, ska, blues, R&B and hip-hop.
Applications can be submitted HERE. Note: Please fill out the form fully. The festival needs to have as much information as possible to make the decision for your band to be selected for the festival. If you can’t fill out a field because it’s not applicable, please type in ‘No’. The more information provided, the better decisions can be made. Please also check your email for a reply that the festival has received your application. If you do not receive one within 14 days of submission, please send email.

The 2017 420 Music & Arts Festival was a three day celebration featuring 22 Stoner Rock, Desert Rock, Doom & Sludge Metal and Fuzzy, Kick Ass Rock n’ Roll bands surrounding the culture that is 420, which included headliners Wo Fat, Anciients, and Black Mastiff. The 420 Expo featured vendors, organizations for marijuana and hemp products, NORML (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws), work of select local artists, artisans, and craftsman.
