Originally based out of East Chicago, Indiana, Dysphoria toured and performed in many places and festivals and developed quite a rowdy following throughout their short years! Dysphoria opened for many major tours and bands across the nation. Having only released one demo, 1993’s “Day Of Atonement”, they quickly rose to the top of the ranks in the Midwest death metal scene. More demo’s were recorded, but never officially released. Dysphoria disbanded in 1995 due to differences but as of 2016, Dysphoria has been re-invigorated. 2017 will see the release of a debut album. 25 years in the making. Source

Everything Must Die

Everything Must Die, Chicago three-piece grind that mixes elements of hardcore, death metal, punk and all forms of extreme music to create a violent, intense sound with all three members as singers. Guitarist Ryan Richards, bassist John Seidelmann and drummer Ryan Cawley were in search of a new sound in March of 2012, and within one month formed Everything Must Die, quickly recorded their Time To Die demo, and went on the road as the opener for D.R.I., sharing their gear and cheap beer across the mid-west. Soon after they were sharing the stage with bands like Cannibal Corpse, Gojira, Green Jelly, Car Bomb, and many more. Everything Must Die went back to Mercenary Digital Studio to record their debut album Live To Kill, which was self-released in January 2013, followed by a DIY lyric video for their song “School Shooter”, which after thousands of views was banned from Youtube twice due to Shocking and Disturbing Content. Two tracks from this album were featured on grindcore compilation albums Grinding For A Cure, Vols. 1 and 2, featuring 100 bands across the world, compiled by members of Phobia and Noisear. Many shows later, they returned to Mercenary Digital Studio to record their second full-length album Fuck Your God, released at the end of 2014. Source

Gorphanage is a comedic death metal three-piece with a strong emphasis on humorous lyrics and groove oriented, old school riffage that operates out of Lake County Illinois. They’ve gigged regularly since 2013 around the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin area. Their debut, full-length album “May Cause Birth Defects” was released in Feb of 2016 independently and is available through CDbaby, iTunes, and Amazon. The band’s second full-length recording, “Swank”, is currently in the pre-production phase.
